We switch on the light, turn on the TV, surf the internet, cook our dinner, and wash our laundry at home. And for all of this we require electricity – whenever the need arises. Up to now, this electricity has made its way into our homes and power sockets via grids. But can we also imagine another way of electricity being distributed? What could different future visions look like in which electricity doesn’t enter our homes through the plug socket? In which, for example, alternative technologies enable wireless power distribution? These and other future questions are being asked by innogy as a leading grid operator in Europe, in order to recognize potential early on and shape the future of the energy world.
